Tiago Pires is out of the Billabong Pro’09 Tahiti

Sadly, Tiago Pires was eliminated on the first round of the Billabong Pro’09 in Tahiti. He lost to the autralian Josh Kerr with a score of 15.50 against Tiago’s 11.03. Although Tiago surfed the best wave, a 9.10 this wasn’t enough to beat Josh. Tiago didn’t manage to get a good second wave, the best being a 1.93 on the other side, Josh managed to surf a 8.83 wave followed by a 6.67 and it was enough to move along for the third heat.
