A tiny robot is given the gift of life with only one limitation, the length of his power cable. When a curious bird appears at the workshop window, the robot feels a lust to live outside of his reach that may be his demise. Directed by Luke Randall for the 2009 NFB Competition.

Google is making its first foray into that most traditional of media, TV, airing a 30-second spot this weekend to promote its Internet browser known as Chrome.
Written and Directed by PES this is one great example of a “stop motion” movie. This movie won a Honorable Mention in the 2009 Sundance and it was showcased in 2009 Offf in Portugal.
Founded in the 1993 by film director John Polson, the ‘Tropicana Short Film Festival’ [as it was originally known] started as an informal short film screening for cast, crew and friends at the Tropicana Cafe in Sydney’s Darlinghurst. More than 200 people showed up. Inspired by the turn out, John decided that a full-fledged short film festival was the next step.
Tropfest has expanded internationally to include a new competition and festival in North America, Tropfest NY (previously known as Tropfest@Tribeca during its two-year partnership with the Tribeca Film Festival.)
Last year winner was this film, which is simply breath taking… very powerful! And this film was shot entirely on a cell phone.
Make the Girl Dance is a french dance music group, and this is their video for the song “Baby Baby Baby”. Their are more videos with the similar concept, but this one combines the good idea with the a very nice sound.
Noteboek (english title: Notebook) consists of 4 short experimental films developed by Evelien Lohbeck where she try to confuse the reality.
In these films, illusions and expectations are challenged. Noteboek is a short film and part of my graduation project.

This Is Spinal Tap (…) is a 1984 mock rockumentary directed by Rob Reiner and starring members of the fictional heavy-metal/hard rock band Spinal Tap. The film satirizes the wild personal behavior and musical pretensions of hard-rock and heavy-metal bands, as well as the hagiographic tendencies of rockumentaries of the time.
