Conceived by designer Kubik Petr, the vehicle holds only two passengers with a minimal amount of luggage. It’s driven by two electric motors connected to the vehicle’s back wheels. The car would be built from the lightest of materials and can operate for up to 20 hours.

One-77: inside’s out

It looks, in a word, stunning. We’ve seen the One-77′s gilled, sculpted exterior before, but take a look at that hand-crafted interior – the woven seats, the silvery switchgear, the leather, the carbon fibre. Not bad, eh? We’re assuming the grubby footwell isn’t standard issue, but we’re quite happy with the rest of it.

The One-77 is set to go on sale next year, armed with a 7.0-litre V12 putting out around 700bhp. Aston says all 77 examples have already been sold – at a cost of around £1.2 million apiece.

Is Audi’s photocopier set to 80 per cent? Just as from the Q7 did come the Q5, so from the Q5 comes… the Q3, a dinky Audi crossover set to arrive in 2011.

Smooth off a few of the concept’s surfaces, cut down the wheels by a couple of sizes and ditch the glitzy white interior, and you should be pretty close to the production Q3.
